How to bring home your WCP pup.

From browsing to welcome-home day, here's exactly what happens, and why we do it this way.

Day 1

Browse the available pups

Start on the Available Puppies page. Every pup has photos, parent info, personality notes, pricing, and a "Ready by" date. Filter by breed, sex, or status. No account needed.

Reach out about your pup

Found one you love? Text or call 330-231-3587 with the pup's name. We'll reply the same day with extra photos, short video clips of the pup with their littermates, parent details, and answers to anything you want to know.

When you're ready

Reserve your pup

If it feels right after the conversation, a reservation fee secures your pup. Fee is always applied to the total, never a separate charge. You'll get a confirmation with everything in writing.

Before pickup

We confirm health & paperwork

Final vet check, vaccinations, and dewormer all confirmed. Health records, shot records, and pedigree (if applicable) prepared. We send you a "go-home kit" checklist so you know what's included.

Pick up in Ohio or arrange delivery

Drive to our home in Millersburg for pickup (we love this, you get to meet us in person), or we arrange safe delivery via a vetted ground driver or pet-friendly airline. Cost confirmed upfront.

Welcome home + lifetime support

Within 7 days, take your pup to your own vet for the wellness check (per the WCP Promise). After that, we're a text or call away for the life of your dog (feeding, training, vet questions), anything.

Common questions about how it works.

How long does the whole process take?
From browse to bringing home is usually 2 to 6 weeks, depending on the pup's age. Pups go home at 8 weeks at the earliest. If you reserve a younger pup, we hold them until they're ready.
What's the reservation fee, and is it refundable?
A portion of the total puppy price (currently $100, confirmed in your reservation). It's always applied to the total, never a separate charge. Refundable up to pickup minus a small admin fee. After pickup, the 7-day vet check window governs (see The WCP Promise).
Can I visit before reserving?
Yes. Visits are by appointment. Text 330-231-3587 to set a time. Most buyers ask a few questions first, then visit if they're seriously considering a pup.
What if I can't drive to Ohio?
We arrange safe delivery anywhere in the continental U.S. Ground transport via a vetted driver ($500 to $1,500) or in-cabin air nanny ($400 to $900). Always quoted upfront before you reserve.
What if the pup turns out to have a health issue?
Within 7 days of pickup, take your pup to your own vet for a wellness check. If they find an undisclosed congenital or hereditary issue, you choose a full refund or a replacement pup. Full details in The WCP Promise.
Is there a waitlist?
Sometimes. When a litter is fully reserved or we're between litters, yes. Join the waitlist and we'll email you the moment a new litter is announced.
